Bangalore Widows Training center

In November 2015, we opened a training center for women near MS Palaya, Vidyaranyapura, in Bangalore where our initial group of eight women are being trained to learn tailoring. We have started a 6 month vocational training program teaching the basics of garment tailoring. We will be evaluating this pilot program and looking to identify other training opportunities to help disenfranchised women gain access to economic opportunities and a living wage.
